Hello everbody,

I bought a TwinHan VisionPlus 3020 DVB-T card (it´s a 3020C) because it´s on the list of supported devices on defyne.org website.

Now I ´m trying to use it with iTele and the driver package 0.8.1.
At first I tried the latest version of iTele 0.6.1 but the card doesn´t appear in the input-window.
Then I used the 0.5.8 version and it works.

But when I select the card and start the scan with location germany (i´m in germany) no station where found during the search.
The card and the antenna is ok, i´ve tested the 2 devices yesterday with a pc.

I hope anybody got an idea or tip what it´s going wrong. My os is OS X 10.4.2.

At first many thanks to manuvcube for the solution suggestions.

"I'll send you a pm with my org.defyne.iTele.plist which you must save to /Library/Preferences/org.defyne.iTele.plist (the Library folder from root, not from you home directory). As I live in the Ruhrgebiet also, it should be the right one. (assuming that Tiger is still able to read plain text xml .plist files...)
Try iTele after saving the file to see, if it
1) has a channel list
2) can tune and show the channels."

The channel list is shown now, but when I doubleclick a channel to watch it the eye-symbol appears and nothing happens.
Mplayer doesn´t start up or something. But in the iTele Input window the frequency of the selected channel is shown.

I put both, the iTele and MPlayer.app in a separeted folder inside the application folder, no effect. Then I tryed to put the two apps directly in the applictation folder with no success.

I changed the Scanfreqstep=ScanfreqRange=0, no success too.
Also I tried the same procedure as root.

Any ideas anybody?

ok, now try the same with the "internal display" (check the box in iTeles preferences.

I don't know on which hardware (especially graphicscard) you use iTele.

Try "Multipass" "Multitexture" "ATI text fragment shader" and "ARB fragment shader" display algos to see wether an internal viewer window pops up. Be patient, it might last! (you should wait at least 20 seconds before giving up)

Only after a fresh restart I got receipt of one selected channel (for exampel the four ProSieben programms) until I switch to a other channel or I quit iTele and restart it the same problem as before.

At first tuning doesn´t work with iTele and the Twinhan 3020. Only with the org.defyne.iTele.plist from manuvcube is it possible for me to got the channels. A scan with a fresh copy of iTele brings me zero scan results.
And more strange things happens ...

I hope you got an idea what´s going wrong here. Did you tested the Twinhan VisionPlus 3020 by yourself?
Which version of iTele and driver package you used for this?

I´m running OS X 10.4.2 on my machine and I tried the older driver package 0.7.3T to install but the installer won´t let me do this.
Only the latest 0.8.1 worked for me to install. I thought it´s maybe a driver problem and I want try out the older package.
With iTele I had only a success with the 0.5.8 version, because the 0.6.0 and 0.6.1 will not find the Twinhan card (input window).
(I´ve tested the older versions of iTele from 0.3.5 to 0.5.8 too with no success).

Disable all network connections temporarily and see, if you get a picture.
Try this antenna:

Quit all other programms and make iTele the frontmost.
BTW, wich Mac-hardware (CPU/MHz/Ram) do you use?

To manuvcube:

I use the following hardware:

PowerMac G4 AGP 1,4 GHz, 1,2 GB SDRAM, ATI Radeon 8500 64 MB,
iTele 0.5.8, MM 0.8.1 Twinhan VisionPlus 3020 & Thompson Active DVB-T Antenna ANTD110 with 18dB.

The problem that no tv station are found or better shown must be a problem
of iTele. Do you know we made a test at the begining with tunetest which was ok, only iTele is not showing a station during a scan.
Only when I use your plist-file.
